Nope, didn't work =( It might be a problem with the movie..... It works fine with other movies.... What does deity mean anyway?..........
I've got Indana jones and the raider of the ark (deity as well) And that doesn't work either...... This is confusing.... Might be the "deity" that's the problem? -

Lddaydaddy, i dont know what you would like to now... Here is some things that was displyed on avicodec:
Video: 510 MB, 1225 Kbps, 23.976 fps, 608*256 (2.21:1), XVID = XVID Mpeg-4, Supported
Audio: 186 MB, 448 Kbps, 48000 Hz, 5 channels, 0x2000 = AC3 DVM, Supported
And some more things:
V. codec name: XVID Mpeg-4
A.1 codec name: AC3 DVM
what could be the problem? =(
ZiggyP.. I've tried those things on your link, doesnt work.. =( -
It's probably the AC3 audio. Try saving the audio file as a wav file. Virtual dub can do that for you. Then substitute the wav audio for the AC3 audio in your original film before you frameserve to TMPG.
-
So what you meant was:
Instead of using the AVI file as audio I make i WAW audio and load that in Vdub?
and then frameserv?
If that's how you meant i didn't work =( -
A couple of quick questions.
What version of virtual dub are you using?
Did you choose full processing mode under audio when you saved the wav file?
Did you try reinstalling the handler with Vdub? -
Im using version 1.5.10.
No, I did not choose full processing mode, and when i tried that later it said: "No audio decompressor could be founf to decompress the source audio format."
Yes, I have tried to reinstall the handler. -

You need the ac3 acm decompressor found in the tools section under codecs. Install it and then open your file in v-dub. I believe version 1.51 uses streams for the audio heading. Click on streams then right click on the video in the pop up screen. When the drop down dialogue box appears choose compression, then choose the ac3 acm decompressor. Then click audio>full processing. You can now save your wav file.
-
Im sorry for my misstake...... I've read the rules now and wont do it again, im sorry.
And laddydaddy, "Click on streams then right click on the video in the pop up screen. When the drop down dialogue box appears choose compression, then choose the ac3 acm decompressor. "
I dont get that, where do i find "streams", in Vdub? -
I'm not familiar with version 1.51 since I use an older version. At the top of vdub where you click on file to open your file, you should see a heading for either audio or streams. Click on whichever one you see and follow my instructions. Let me know how you make out.
-
well it looks like this:
File Edit Video Audio Options Tools Help
so you mean the audio header? -
Yes. Choose the full processing mode then choose compression under audio. When you choose compression click on the ac3 acm decompressor. You should be able to save your wav file now.
