WMP9 Problem *surprise, surprise*

I installed the Mastroka codec pack and avi2vcd, and I remember one page had something to update ffd codecs/definitions or whatnot, and now that I updated the thing, everytime I click on an MPG or some AVIs in Win2k and the preview comes up, explorer crashes, and if I try to open em via WMP9 by dragging and dropping a bunch into the playlist, same deal, WMP crashes. I don't even SEE the ffd crap that I installed to uninstall. Any ideas?

btw - I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling WMP twice, and I don't fancy the idea of going back to WMP6.4/classic

oh my mistake, I also installed an AVI fixer too tonight, that's what required it, Divx Avi Asf Wmv Wma Rm Rmvb Fixer was the name of it in the DLs section, the problem started happening after I installed Microsoft Windows Media Format Redistribution Pack, I'm fairly certain that's what it is....
