engines installer problem

I can't seem to get the ffmpegx Engines Installer to install any of the necessary conversion tools. I've followed all of the directions. I get all three engines loaded, hit install, and the application quits without even asking for an administrator password.

The crash log is posted below.

I've also tried putting the files in usr/bin manually, but ffmpegx doesn't see them, even if i run the installer again after putting them there manually.

Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Probable issue with your OSX install. Try to install on another disk with a fresh OSX and see if it works.
