I grabbed m2v and ac3 files from a dvd-r created with a phillips dvd-recorder. When importing into Encore, it's all scrambled, while it plays okay in media player. At the beginning there's what appears to be part of the menu intro created by the dvd-recorder. When I try to remove the first part it gives me a "illegal MPEG stream" error.
When trying to do the whole file, I get a 25kb file.

Is there a way to repair the file?
