  1. I suppose this is like a theory question.

When you open a movie (using shrink), it sets the compression automatically, usally the main movie is about 50%.

Of course by using the compression slider on the trailers, extras, and turning off subtitles, or DTS vs stereo, etc, this will allow the MAIN MOVIE to automatically go higher.

In a nutshell, the overall compression keeps a constant 4.2 gig size.

So my question is what happens when you COPY your copy.

Does it recompress? Or since it's 4.2 to begin with (the copy), the compression is turned off? Is it still copy protected or can you use NERO and just dupe the DVD.

    thanks...

The copy is not prootected, so you can do a dvd to dvd copy using Nero or whatever program you want.

Just use your regular burning software to put them on DVDr. If you created the title set with DVD Shrink or some similar app, it will fit.
