  2. Hey man, I have been getting the EXACT same error on HeartBreakers for days now. Just figured it out tonight finally. Turns out there is a corrupt section of the movie. When TMPGEnc stops and gives you that error, write down the time in the movie. Mine was 50:55. So I opened up VirtualDub, found that part of the flick and there was a few seconds of blotchy red crap all over the place. I deleted just those 3 seconds and it worked. I know there is 3 seconds missing from the movie now, but it's the best I could figure out for myself. I still new to this.

    Good Luck

Use "vdub-mp3-freeze.exe" to scan all AVI's for bad frames, it makes a list so you can remove them before convertion.

  4. Hey man, could you be a bit more specific on where that is? I can't find it anywhere in VirtualDub and I don't see it anywhere in the Tools section.

    THanks

Hi, sorry its not a regular Vdub, its a modified version called "vdub-mp3-freeze.exe" you should be able to download it from the usual places like grokster, Kazza etc. mail me if you don't find it.
