Pinnacle Studio 9: Transition (fade) blinks at 800x600!

Howdy folks, I'm wondering if anyone here has run into this and knows what I might be doing wrong.

FYI, I've got a movie made with various transitions (ie fade) going from Titles to imported 800x600 30fps .avi's from Fraps (a program to capture video with games and other fullscreen stuff).

When I make the movie (output to any of the .avi options) at 640x480, everything is fine. But when I output at 800x600 (and only a few of the avi options support this), and watch the video, the transitions blink in and out quickly. It's like the original video with black frames blinking in and out.

Is there something I'm missing? Anything I can do to fix this? Anyone or anyplace I should go to ask this question?

PS: If this can't be fixed, what other programs support importing the Studio 9 project type? I suppose I could try out Studio 8...

I don't believe you can use PS9 project file in PS8. Actualy I don't believe you can use it in any other software. I am talking abou PROJECT FILE and not about avi or mpeg or any other video format.

Yeah I was reading up on those forums, and apparently Studio 9 is pretty terrible. My problem, among others, are known bugs I guess.

Studio 8 is the program to use until Studio 9 is fixed. Too bad my project is in Studio 9 :\
