Any one know if the A07'XL' will be available in the US?

I've been putting off buying a drive hoping the XL version of the DVR-AO7 would show, but so far I can only find it off shore.

Anyone know if this will be available in the US?

Ha, well I found the new A07XLB for 160$ after rebate at Best Buy, it was black face otherwise I would have bought it. Oh well I'll have to wait for the beige. Still cant find the A07XL* on Pricegrabber.com or Pricewatch.com

That's the black faceplate model (XLB), though (which, incidentally, is the unit I bought with the rebate). ThreeFatTigers wanted beige and BB doesn't have that one, AFAIK.

Hey great! thanks tag, I just ordered it from J&R. Beige, retail and a rebate, just what I was looking for, and at a net savings of 22$ less after rebate than the in-store XLB from Best Buy

Yay! Now fingers crossed it will work with the hacked Pioneer A07/107 firmware

Not much. As far as I can determine, the electronics are identical to the 107. The only differences appear to be mechanical and cosmetic; some sort of "honeycombing" to suppress vibration and a different front bezel.
