    ez ppl,
    just updated from win98 to win xp, thought i had all the codecs i needed but now i can only playback divx files that are 48000hz and not convert them with t-mpeg.

    any help please

    i have installed most codec packs and 4cc says i have a dodec that will play it but i cant seem to convert them the way i used to.

    please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please help

    perhaps uninstalling all those codec packs might help and only install what you need ... ffdshow perhaps ..

    getting rid of them may be a dog .... maybe reinstall xp and this time dont install a bunch of codec packs ..
