I did that and installed xvid lite codecs. And when I play the avi(xvid) in power dvd it's fine.. But shit when I playe the mpeg2 file after converting it, the "shaky" jerky video is back. Also when I have author it ,and plays the vob's....? It's just as it plays one fram per second ...
Any ideas ?? -
what specs are your pc
my old pentium 3 had a similar problem
either its graphics card was shit or the entire system was too slow -
i remember seeing in a post that if you use virtual dub and hit the right arror it works very well, something got to do with the frame rate of xvid you obtained.
If it works fine in virtualdub then youll b right
hope that helps -
are you using the new(what i guess is the latest codec)
XviD - Koepi 1.0 RC1
or an older one -
Are you converting NTSC to PAL That would produce jerkyness after encoding
