DVD workshop locking up

I have been using DVD Workshop to burn my home movies to DVD up to 3 months ago. I have not used it in the last 3 months because I have been concentrating on DVD backup to DVDR. I finally had success with DVDShrink, Autoshrink, and Nero to backup my DVD's but now I am starting back with my home video to DVDR using the same method as before. The only thing that has changed on my system is the above installed programs. Now DVD Workshop freezes up at the final step of burning the DVDR. It works fine setting up the DVD (menu, etc.) but just freezes on that final step. Is there a conflict with any of these programs with DVD Workshop? I am using Workshop 1 not 2. I have uninstalled workshop 2 times and reinstalled but the same thing keeps happening.


Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried downloading and installing the update patch for version 1.3 of Ulead DVD Workshop?

The update patch can be downloaded from the Web page at the following link:

I went to this link but the 3 download sites will not open. It tells me this page is not available for each of the 3 sites to download the patch. what am i doing wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong.

The Ulead Web site servers have apparently been having some problems during the last couple of days.

I just tried and I was able to download the update patch.

Try again.
