Using TINRA, I have converted a RealMedia audio file to .avi. However, I cannot then convert this using Virtual Dub to a wav or mp3 as there is no video stream. I can't see anything that would do it via the TMPGEnc site, although there was a reference to SCMPX, but that doesn't seem to convert .avi files!
Is what I am trying to do impossible, or can someone show me a way through?!!
Thanks!

You need to find a program that strips the audio out of an AVI. Virtual DUb may. lemme see...
yes, under file, go to "save wav" and it will extract the audio into a wav file.
now u have a wav to encode with whatever encoder u use. -
If you are talking about converting a .rm audio file into a wave or MP3 file, Streambox Ripper is the tool to use. Covert a 1-hr rm audio into a 500MB wave in 3 mins. Do .rm video, too. Rip the audio of a 30-min rm video into a 280MB wave file in 1 min+.
