    Hello All,

    New here, but need help!

Using Dazzle DVCII as it has received rave reviews on vcdhelp.com

Sometimes A/V is perfect throughout, sometimes it ends up around 3 seconds out over half an hour. Any suggestions? I'm using a P3 450.

Also, software played up a little recording SVCD after 30 mins, again any advice?

  2. A tricky problem to sort out - The question is why only sometimes. Does the card not initialise properly or does it only happen after a playback or a record. You need to look closely at what has been done prior to the unit playing up. It might be another program you have run prior to using the DVC. You should find some pattern to the problem.
    Keep looking.

  3. Here is a bit of reading that might be of interest from the DVCII forum:

  4. The audio/video sync problem is a widespread common problem-check the forums. The SOLUTION is: Time Base Corrector(TBC). We purchased the Datavideo TBC-1000 for $299.95. Check this source: http://www.videoguys.com/datavid.htm
The problem surfaces only when the source video quality or time code is poor. We've even had what appeared to be a good sync after capture but when the video is put through DVDIt! the A/V sync is lost-actually was never there in the first place-we just couldn't detect it visibly. I can almost guarantee this will fix your problem.
