    after installation ffdshow my computer is crashing by playing with windows player 9...
    if i remove ffdshow everything is ok....but i need ffdshow for some avi to play...even if xvid is installed movie is not playing good as when ffdshow is installed...
    where can be a problem?
    can i have all codecs divx 3,4,5 and xvid a ffdshow installed to play evrything ok with windows media player 9....

    tried the latest version?
    you could also try some older versions and see if it works better.

    hello
    i tried some older versions no help...
    i have divx 5.0 and xvid 1 RC3 version installed but would like to have ffdshow too because is good to play some movies through this so...

    still do not know why ffdshow after installing is crashing when trying to play avi in WMP9.....

    any ideas?
