  1. First question. Is it possible to Have a motion background on your menu, but instead of using the whole background menu....localize it to a pre diefined shape ( If that made no sense...I;m trying to add motion into a square I draw on the menu).

Two what is the best prgoram to create special effects around 100$

    Thanks

  2. If you want something that intricate, you will need to create the motion MPEG with a dedicated editor/encoder, then import it into DVD-Lab.

  4. Try this..

    Apply background first
    make your box
drag your video from asset to box (no shift)
    (send to back)

  5. What you'll have to do is use the Render Motion option. Follow the guides on the MediaChance website for this.

  6. Hi

what you have to do is add the video clip to your assets and then drag it over to the right and put it in the video preview box,
then drag it from there into your menu. it now is not full screen but in a video box on your menu.
when you have changed the size and layout you have to go into the Menu at the top and then Render Motion, pick out the lenght of the background clip and then press Render.

the output avi is your complete background video which then is changed to mpeg and imported back into your assets and dragged straight onto your menu as motion menu.

    hope you understand this

what i have often done is put a full size picture over the top of the video image and background with a cutout where your clip is but in an odd shape so the clip is not square and overlay this over your video clip. it gives it all a professional touch before rendering.

were created using the links above. Basically, it's a motion menu with thumbnails. The "scene selection" menu is the same way. The only thing that "plays" is the movies inside the boxes...

both loop for approx 20 seconds, then repeat
