  1. I am encoding non-standard VCD's and whatever I do the filesize does not change - I set the bitrate to give me an 80mb file so that I can fit approximately 10 videos of this size on a CD-R but the resulting file is always 110mb - even if I half the bitrate down to about 300kbps the filesize still comes out as 110mb. Does anyone know why this is happening?

  2. If you are using TMPGEnc then you need to load the unlock template which will let you adjust the bitrate. If this is TMPGEnc, is it a current version? Some of the older ones wouldn't allow you to stray from the standard VCD/SVCD template
