I have been experiencing problems using DVD Shrink and burning with Nero. I have downloaded Imgtool Classic and DVDDecrypter and find I finish up with a 7.5g file. After using those applications, I have not been able to re-author with DVDShrink.

Would really appreciate advise on how to go about using those applications and getting my DVD backup onto DVDR.

THANKS in advance to those members who take time out to respond.

  2. Blinky88. When i use dvdshrink i do this: When clicking on "Backup!" on the toolbar the "Backup DVD" dialogbox appears, and under "Select target device:" i select "ISO disk image" and then a tickbox appears saying "Launch DVD Decrypter to burn the output image". Make sure thats one selected and you dont have to use IMGTools at all. DVDShrink is quite a bit faster than IMGTools in creating the ISO image if it doesnt need to do any transcoding.

let me know if im wrong, but as far as i know, u cant burn w/dvd decrypter unless u have previously installed nero. try it
I'm not a Nero hater! I use it all the time for everything BUT DVD Video. I just don't get as reliable results with it as I do burning with DVDDecrypter from an ISO file. I use Nero all the time for data backup, audio CD's, Video CD's, etc...
