  1. hi folks,

i've several DAT-Files converted via VCDGear to MPEG-Files, i want to burn them to a single DVD to avoid changing the CDs

Is it possible to improve the quality of the videos (except changing the resolution) ?

  2. I Doubt you can improve the quality, more likely if you re-encode you will trash the quality even more, cause that will add more compression artifacts

You can use Procoder or TMPGENC with some noise reduction filters to improve the quality. But the new file must be 352x480 with a higher bitrate. It can happen, but you must be willing to increase the disc size? What's more important? Quality or discs? I always go with quality myself. It will take what it takes.
