I want to convert an avi to DVD-mpeg. The avi has some logos in it so i want to remove them (or put a black box over it). The logos only appear about every 10 min or so for about 1 min each time.
I use vdub to frameserve with subs and tmgenc to convert it. I found a vdub filter to filter away a logo (putting a black box on it) but it does it for the whole movie. I only want a black box when the logo appaers.
Anyone knows another filter for vdub? A filter where you can set the times to put a black box on it?

Try the conditional filter in virtual dub. You can set ranges of frame to apply filters.
If your logo is over the picture you can use delogo to "reconstruct" de hidden parts. It can works on ranges of frames.
This filter is good but quite slow if the amount of details to rebuild is high (life a scrolling banner in the bottom of screen). -
How do you apply the conditional filter in vdub? i can't find it. Is it another filter or a standard vdub filter?
The only filter i used so far is a subtitler filter.
