hi all
i have been told that another reason my dvd writter might be burning dvd's wrong, ie i get blocky bits in the last 10 minutes might be caused by not having the upto date firmware for my burner,
i found this link http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1603
it is the page for me to get my firmare but i am really new to this, and it says it could be dangerous if you do not know what your doing, has anyone done this before and it is easy??
if anyone could look at the above link for me and maybe take me through it i would be really grateful as i dont even knw which one to download!
Thanks for all your help
Chris

Hi Chris,
first of all, try different Dvd's instead of updating your FW, in my opinion your Prob depends on your Media (or Authoring).
If you still plan to update the FW of your Burner, then use original FW- updates from the manufacturer's Page (not the Page you mentioned),
but if you are not familar with all this stuff keep your finger's off it, you might damage your Burner!
