    Help,

    I have looked but can't find anything in here to help. I have downloaded a file from the net which is in AVI format, the file is in two cd's i need to know how to join the 2 back in to 1?? and do i convert first or later?

    any help would be appreciated

    Use virtualdub. Open the first file and then go to Append Video Segment in the File menu.

    Convert after this. You don't specify what you want to end up with so I can't tell you how to convert it.
