Hello
I have an Pinnacle pctv pro card (sterio sound and remote control)

I use the driver from http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/ Now I see they have updated the driver i havent tried it out yet I had the older version for 1-1.5 years, and still has.

But i get really dissapointed of the capture card (now i tried the card more than for 1 year ago).

When i capture vhs source i allways get wrong brightness eighter its to bright or to dark i cant find any good settings.

I live in PAL area an use to capture vcd in 352x288 in huffy (already here the colours is wrong)
Then encode with tmpgencoder i have tried a couple of capture software and all have the same settings if i capture with default settings its gets a bit to dark then i slowly enhance the brightness and the colours get washed out and if its is an skiing/snowboard movie the snow brightness up and i cant see the ground all get white then i lower the brightness and i cant se peoples faces.

But if i capture from my dvdplayer then all colours seems to get good.

My VCR is probly not so good as i thought is should be when i bought it and i cant return it already had it for 1 year or so.
Sharp VC-S2000
It can play & record in s-vhs and has TBC.
I bought it youst to be able to output from s-video witch i could not on my older video an JVC HR-DX22E (this one is no longer in use becuse when i eject tapes they got stuck in an screw or something).

So is it all to blame to the video or is it drivers or the card? the vhs-tapes looks good on tv but in after capture the colours gets eighter to dark or to bright.
I have also tried to output with compsite cables (yellow) and same brightness problem accure.
And the capured vcds looks bad on tv when i play them in my standalone dvdplayer.
