I attempted to run VirtualDub to capture some old LaserDisks I can't select any resolution higher than 320x240. 'Error 418: Unsupported video format' pops up. Captured at that resolution and converted to DVD (Mpeg-2), then burned with TMPGEnc software resulted in very poor image quality.
I'm using a Leadteck WinFast TV 2000XP Deluxe capture card and have no problems with resolution selection using the bundled WinFast capture software. Somewhere I read something about correcting this: 'error 418' by changing drivers. I don't have a clue as to what that means or how to go about it.
Thanks for any help on correcting my VirtualDub problem.
