  1. Hello:

I have a movie that I encoded using TMPGEnc Plus using the following settings: MPEG-2 Video, size 720X480. asp rat 4.3. frm rt 29.97, constant bitrate, bitrate 1150, format NTSC non interlace, YUV format 4:2:0, motion search normal. The audio settings were MPEG-1 layer II. freq 48000. stereo bitrate 192. I hope this is enough information!

When I play the DVD the still pictures sceens are fine but if there are action sceenes the images are fuzzy and jerky. Is there anything I can do to correct this? Does my settings for the encoding contribute to the problem? Any recomendations will be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Barney

Your bitrate is way too low, thats usually used for vcd, depending on how long your movie is use bitrates of 6500kbps cbr for 90min with 192 kbps audio and 4800kbps cbr for 120 minutes at 192 kbps, you can also use 2pass vbr.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.
