  1. I haven't had the Dazzle for very long and I'm just learning to use it. I saw a post the other day complaining about the DVC II clip that had been posted had been tampered with so I captured these clips for all to see and judge. These were taken with the DVC II taken out of the box with all default settings. Enjoy!

    DVD Clips "S-Video in":
    vcd_template.mpg 16x9, a very good stream.

    svcd_template.mpg 16x9, algorithm artifacts, noise around objects, small blockness.

    VCR Clips "RCA in":
    vcd.mpg 4x3, noise around objects, over scanning.

    svcd.mpg 4x3, algorithm artifacts , noise around objects, small blockness, over scanning.
    monster you may have your VCR check out you could have a bad head or need cleaning.

    TV Clips "VCR Turner, RCA in":
    vcd_cartoon1.mpg 4x3, noise around objects, I didn't count the other artifacts being it look like a poor signel to me.

    vcd_news1.mpg 4x3, noise around objects other then that is was a very good stream.

    It look much better then win I frist got it I take you useing 422 or 423beta ?.
    So the rest you know i did this useing Womble MPEG2VCR time line review each frame & replay them back thur SoftDVD and my on Hollywood+.

    Just so that you are up to date: Moviestar 4.23 has now been released as full version. Not a Beta anymore.

    Thanks for the review. Yes the cartoon was a poor signal. I'll try and record a better one later. It was the only cartoon on last night

  6. Yes SHS, I was using Moviestar 4.23. My Dazzle DVC II shipped with version 4.22 and I updated it to 4.23 release version.
