I have a sony dru-530a and when burnt my last two dvd+r discs using dvd decrtypter it showed that it was burning at 1x speed and took 55 minutes to burn. before it was burning alot faster and only took around 20 minutes to burn.
please can anyone help me out on this?

You don't give much information, but the most common problem that causes low speed burns is DMA not being enabled. Another is ASPI layer being incorrect, next is old firmware for your burner, and another is bad media. Filling out your computer profile helps. All of these problems have been addressed here, do a forum search for particulars.
