  1. I've got an SB Live (and a VIA MB) I'm tried of dealing with it and want a new/better sound card (that works on the VIA KT133A chipset if at all possible). Any suggestions?

  2. is this for capturing, gaming or what? i'll sell you a soundcard pretested for clock stability if capturing is your only criteria and you can install/run more than 1 soundcard

  3. Sorry, for both capturing and gaming, I could install 2 cards but would like to keep the PCI slot open (plan to get firewire card in near future).

I used to be a SB user till I found out about the Santa Cruz model from Turtle Beach...Works great for gaming and video capture..

They had certified Windows XP drivers available two weeks before the 25th release date of XP...Ya can't say that for Creative...

Only one IRQ is needed for the Turtle Beach (the SB Live requires 2)
Newegg has them for $65 bucks..

Do yourself a favor and get you one ordered...
    You won't be disappointed
