black edges where it was cropped from....something that will stretch it....my movide is a MPEG and it is cropped on the top and bottom but i am missing half of the movie cause it dont fit on the monitor...thanks

As long as the black bars aren't actually encoded in the video, Zoom Player can stretch it to full screen. Just right click>Aspect Ratio>4:3. Zoom Player is an overall superior player to Windows Media Player.
