is there a tool that will tell you wether your mpeg is pal or ntsc..when i load an mpeg into gspot it says n/a on all the settings...thanks for any input

Hi catdaddio6,
Use AVICodec on the MPG file. It won't actually state whether it's PAL or NTSC, but it will give you sufficient information to be able to work it out (i.e. resolution, fps etc.).
See the blue DVD link in the top left of the page for the full specs for DVD (both NTSC & PAL).There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
