  1. I have an older model PC (Pentium 200Mhz, 128 RAM), and it's doesn't fulfill Nero's system requirements so I've been seeking alternative programs for burning VCD. I came across a free program called Burn VCD: http://web.hku.hku/~kangsg/freeware. But unfortunately when I tried to burn a MPEG movie onto a cd, I got the following error msgs:

1-Cannot set write parameters mode page
2-Cannot setup write parameters for session-at-once mode
3-Please try to use generic mmc raw driver

I am a newbie when it comes to vcd burning. I haven't the foggiest idea what those error messages mean. Does anyone have any suggestion as to what may be wrong? I am using HP CD WRITER+ 8290

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer.

  2. 1. Get an oder version of Nero, not really recommended
    2. Get a new or newer computer than what you currently have

I would go buy and brand new computer. The P200 is going to die soon anyway - about 10 years old by now.
