    i know how to convert multiple divx avi ac3 to dvd-r ac3. I just dont know what settings. I Have about 21 350MB avi files average duration is about 50 minutes. the average video is 900 Kbps, 23.976 fps, 640*352 (16:9), DIV3 = DivX v3 MPEG-4 (Low-Motion)and the audio is 192 Kbps, 48000 Hz, 2 channels, 0x2000 = AC3 DVM.

    What would be the best settings for about 3-4 avi on 1-dvd-r with menus for a stand alone dvd player?

    Use the DVDRhelp Bitrate Calculator to figure out the appropriate bitrate.
