Using DVD SHRINK just to rip

Hi,

I am using Intervideo dvdcopy2 to transcode my DVDs and sometimes, I just want to keep the menu and the main title. If I use dvd decrypter to decrypt the files, there are no options in Intervideo dvdcopy2 to keep the menu but i remember with DVD Shrink by opening the VTS_01.vob and so on, sometimes, you can keep the menu and the main title.

I was wondering, If i choose the option "NO COMPRESSION" and backup the DVD to my HD, will it still use its transcoder or will it actually be a 1:1 copy like DVD Decrypter? I do not want shrink to use its own transcoder, since I want to use dvdcopy2.

Why not just click on customize and deselect everything but the main title in Intrervideo DVDCopy 2. That will replace all extras with a blank screen and will keep your main movie and menu.
