I got a 2 hour movie captured to VCD format using SNAZZI.
I checked the original MPEG1 file and there's no sync problem.
I converted it to DiViX follow ing the MPeg to Divix guide on this board.
AFter converting to DIVIX (550k sec video 8ks audio) the resulting AVI have sync problems. not really by that much but by the end of the movie time the lip/audio sync is off by as much 2 seconds.
anyone have come across this problem? any fix? advice?
thanks

This can be really really messy when it happens, make sure your not changing any frame rates (video) or sample rates (audio) first, then if that fails read the audio synching guide at doom9.org.
Best of luck and may the force be with you. -
I"m following the guide directly from this site on converting mpeg to divix.
I'm doing exactally what it said.
the only thing that might be messing up is the VCD is stand VCD quality but the
audio encode to divix is only 64k 44kz, stereo..
maybe I will reinstall the divix codex and try again..
