If the final VCR goes to the TV via scart , unplug it from TV and put it into EXT2 on DVD Recorder. Then scart from EXT1 on DVD recorder to TV.

You shouldn't need to uncouple the VCRs

Stick DVD player into Cam 1 on the front of DVD recorder.

I am assuming DVDR72 has same connections as 70 and 75.

If you've not heard of scart you're obviously not in UK.

You may use RCA Phono Plugs which I guess would be Yellow for video and Red and White for Audio.

We have one plug called a Scart Plug intead of individual plugs.

Just replace the word scart with phono plugs in my first post.

As for S-VHS don't know , never used it. If you videos aren't S-VHS you won't need to either.

The only way to copy a DVD with menus etc is via a PC. You've got to look at a DVDrecorder as video recorder.

Re VCR . My remote has a button on the top 'Monitor' . If you press that it will allow you to access EXT2 and CAM1 using the ch+ and ch- buttons.
If you want to copy a video use the VCR last in line and record on EXT1 . to record the film of a DVD use CAM1.
