I want to convert a .mov so I can watch it on my tv but when I try it, it is always blank. This is what I used so far to convert.
TMPGEnc, RAD tools, mov2avi, Arcsoft showbiz dvd, Dr.divx, Quicktime plugin. I get sound depending on what I use but I never get a picture. I put the priority up on everyting though tmpgenc but it is still blank. Drdivx just plays the sound. I don't know what else to do. I even tried to install quicktime 4 but it just updates to the newest one.

    What should I do????

    Thanks

Do you have the QT Reader installed in TMPGEnc Plus?

Are you able to get a picture when you play it with Quicktime? Also, why don't you want to update to the latest version?

Yes, I have the quicktime reader installed and it works fine with everything that I have and all of my .mov files. I just have a problem with just one of them I just got. I also have the lasted quicktime installed and love it. I just tried to install quicktime 4 because people were having problems with sound so I thought it might work maybe.

I am also able to play it in quicktime with no problem at all

Seems like you have a problem with direct show filters in use for the quicktime, the best thing to do is uninstall all the codecs and filters you have and just install the ones you really need.

I wouldn't bet the farm on that one, Johns0. It is only one .mov video he has that has this problem. The rest of his .mov movies work just fine.
