  1. Hi,

I have a XVCD Template , it has the options for me to encode with functions like DVD ( CQ, VBR, CBR ) and bitrate to whatever I wish. The default audio is 44.1Khz, I modified it to encode audio to 48Khz. Does it mean I have now is a mpg2 file ( dvd file instead of xvcd )? even though it is xvcd template ( 352x240 resolution, the same as low dvd resolution which is also 352x240 )

  2. No, you made the MPEG1 compliant with DVD. That's what you intended, is it not? (Assuming I understand you correctly.) Have you saved the modified template under a new name?

  3. It kind of hard to explain, I try to explain again, hopefully you guys can understand better and help me solve it.

I got a xvcd template from someone else, in there, I can change the video and audio bitrate, choosing options such as CBR, VBR, CQ ....

Then I edit this template in notepad ( save under new name ), in this modification, I modified its default audio ( 44.1khxz ) to 48khz ( which is DVD audio ), so from now on, instead of encode the movie into xvcd 44.1khz, it will do xvcd of 48khz. Does that mean I got a mpg2 files instead of mpg1 ???

Note: the resolution of xvcd is 352x240 , the same as low dvd resolution

I hope this clear up a bit
    thanks
