  1. Has anyone had any experience with this recorder? There are several great deals on this particular recorder and I'm wondering if there's any problem with it. I've only been able to locate one review so far. Thanks

I just ordered this for $265 at Beach Camera or something. I really want to know if it is good or not. I've read some about it and it seems good. I've read very few reviews because there aren't many and all of them have been extremely positive.

  3. Its damm good, had it for a week now and love it. A Australia Sound and Image mag rated it as a best buy against the Panasonic, Thomson , Toshiba and Conia models within the same price range. Set up is a breeze and the learn curve for its functions is very short, you'll be up and running in no time. The record quailty is spot on, play back is A1.

  5. I don't care about the hard drive since I have a Dish Network version of Tivo which is just one big hard disk which will be easy to record from.

  6. I've had this unit for a while now and had very good luck. I use it mainly for general recording and not to much editing. The Auto recording feature works great ! This allows the unit to turn on and start recording automatically according to your Sat/ VCR timer settings. You need to use inut 1 for this. Nice unit and works great with Sony media. I tried the chase play feature with Pioneer's 2x media purchased thru Meritline- this worked well also.
