  1. I have a Sony TRV320 and when I'm transfering the video to my computer I notice the contrast is real low. When I view the footage through the viewfinder the video is so much more colorful and brighter. I have used a few capturing programs and get the same thing with all of them. Also after I make the DVD and view it on my tv it comes out the same way low contrast so Is this a norm with these Cameras or is it something I can do to make it beter? Thank's for any help you all can give.

  2. The only thing i can advice to you, set hardware in "auto" or default mode,
    check this also for your software, set all in default settings,
    or install software again, also check cables, for good connections..

    Unfortuantely, DV cameras are famous for their high resolutions, but notorious for their low contrast in low lighting. You can also use your editing software to adjust your video contrast once your DV transfers to your system.
