  1. i'm confused it's some kinda conversion thingy rite? that u can do w/ virtual dub?

  2. Say you captured a 2 gig AVI with commercials. You use Virtual Dub to edit the commercials out, apply all kinds of filters, etc... then save another (2-4 gig) file. Then you go into TMPGenc to encode the new AVI file to mpeg.

    Well, frameserving is the ability to avoid saving that second file. You can just "serve" it straight to TMPGenc.
