  1. i have a pocket pc 2003, and i hava a program to put a dvd onto a 128 multimedia card and it works ok.
    how can i convert divx,mpeg ect to fit on a multimedia card . what tools do i need and can i do batch encoding ? also what is the settings that i will need to use to do this please, been told that a 128 multimedia card can hold about 100 mins of movie, yes i know this is not very good quality but my dvd2pc program is quite watchable.thank you

    Anyway if your pocket pc will play divx, then you can use virtualdub to convert your divx/mpeg files to a divx avi file. Use a bitrate calculator to determine the bitrate required to get the filesize you want for the movie. I would also suggest reducing the framerate to around 15fps for playing on a handheld device.
