  1. I'm trying to play a Xvid which consist of two files.
I doesn't matter which player I use and which part I play.
When I play the Xvid the player tells me that there is an error and then just ends. I tried Media player, BSplayer Avi viewer.
Gspot tells me that i have the xvid installed and also the audio codec. Someone knows this problem?

    there is an error
That doesn't tell me much - might it be that the AVI is corrupt?

Install ffdshow instead of the xvid codecs,i get crashes with xvid codecs but not with ffdshow plus the graphics dont get warbled with certain xvid clips.

Have you scanned it for bad frames with virtualdub?

It does sound like you have a corrupt file as Mats suggested .

There are a lot of them out there. Especially on the likes of Kazaa.
