    Hi what is the best way to know which codecs i need and which I don't need?
    I have alot installed but is there a set or a program that tells all?
    Anyone?

    when you run across a video you can't play -- then you need that codec .. otherwise don't install them before you need them ...

    in the tools section are tools like g-spot which will tell you what codec you will need IF you have a file that doesnt play ...
