    I've been having some serious problems with trying to burn some movies using these programs. I have a movie that is an mpeg1 (I didn't encode it, it started out as mpeg), approx. 1.06GB, 1:49:12 long, 29.970fps, average bitrate is 1149Kbps, and the audio is 44Khz stereo, 224Kbps layer II. I've tried uploading it into DVDit! and it tells me "DVDit! could not find a suitable decoder.... etc". I've tried the walkaround where you make a copy of a file that will upload and then overwrite it with the one that wouldn't and DVDit! tells me "file format not supported" I then tried to upload the file into Ulead DMF and it uploads except for the fact it says the file is 430Mb and only 23:12 long. I tried to upload another movie that was also mpeg1 and over an hour long and it only said it was 2:30 long. I'm kinda lost on what to do and how I can burn these and would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks.

    I'm using Ulead DVD MovieFactory V3.0.
    I also just tried burning it with Roxio Easy Cd & DVD Creator 6 and when I upload the video with that program the file size is more accurate (1.02GB) but it is still saying the movie is only 23:12 long. I can burn it but it stops 23 minutes into the movie.

    Well if that's the problem with DVDit! then what is the deal with Ulead and Roxio. Why does it upload but then cut the length of the film down?

  6. In Ulead...

    1. Click the SECOND button in the lower left corner of the interface;

    2. After the PROJECT SETTINGS pop-up menu appears, UN-check the DO NOT CONVERT COMPLIANT FILES check box;

    3. Click the CHANGE MPEG SETTINGS button;

    4. After the small pop-up appears, click CUSTOMIZE;

    5. After the VIDEO SAVE OPTIONS appear, click the GENERAL and COMPRESSION tabs and adjust the project encode settings to be compliant with DVD disc standards

    6. Click the OK button to accept the project settings;

    7. Burn.
