  1. I'm newbie to this, so please excuse me if things sound primitive to you.

    I have shot some short clips with my Dimage X10 camera (.mov format) and have put them together in Vegas Video 4.0. I did not do any real authoring; I strung the clips together to simply preserve them on a DVD. When rendering, I am presented with an array of options, so I simply chose the defaults: NTSC DV and .avi

    I then used MyDVD to create the menus and burn the DVD. Everything ran smoothly until I played the DVD on my big screen TV (60"). The pixels are so stretched out, I can barely see anything. Is that normal? Should I play the DVD on a small TV? Is there a setting that can limit the display area on the TV and make the picture viewable?

    You're not maintaining your correct aspect ratio.
