I am attempting to burn a authored dvd I made with DVD Shrink.
I have a folder with a Video and Audio Folder in it....... used TMPGEnc DVD Author to make a .iso
I then found and followed the guide for using DVD Decrypter ( http://www.dvd-guides.com/guides.php?category=dvdburn&name=imgtool ).
When i attempt to burn the iso with my NEC ND1300A, i get a instant error message that reads like this:
I/O Error!
Device: [0:1:0] _NEC DCD_RW ND-1300A 1.07 (D
ScsiStatus: 0x02
Interpretation: Check Condition
CDB: 53 00 00 00 00 00 20 2D C7 00

What does this mean. I thought maybe i would look up the drivers and/or firmware for the burner but it says that i need to goto the oem for them......... i bought it off of ebay therefore i dont have anywhere to goto find them. any ideas anyone?

Why not burn with TMPGEnc DVD Author instead of creating an ISO ?
If in doubt, Google it. -

Invalid Unit Number -
seems a media issue. What media are you using? Get some that work with your unit, left column, dvd media.

I was coming to the same conclusion..... so i looked into it..... here is what i have......
Ebay Item number: 2791337781
CompCDR 50 DVD-R DVDR 1X-4X SONY PIONEER A05
Brand new, 50 DVD-R Version 2.0 Discs.
Compatibility Table: http://store.yahoo.com/lib/compcdr/DVDCompatibility.pdf
it does list my NEC 1300A , according to that compatibility Table it should work and has been tested.........
but i did notice this ( NOT compatable with DVD+R/RW writers except new generation power burners. ) which leads me to think that maybe i need to upgrade something........ firmware or something..... all i did was by this burner from Ebay and plugged it in and it worked.......... not sure where to go to get upgrades......... looked at www.nec.com and they said to goto oem website ......... so i am lost.......hehehehe -
well I could of come to that conclusion on my own moron.... in fact i had...except i already bought the 50 dvd's.... therefore my intentions was attempting to find out why the writer was not functioning the way it claims to be able too.
