    Hi folks
    hope you can help me as I'm new to encoding xvid/divx to dvd.

    I tried first of all the lazy method using nerovision express 2 to convert the avi to vobs. (flame away I know its crap!). However, for some strange reason it turned the picture upside down. I then tried to convert to mpeg 2 using main concept and the same thing happened with the picture.
    I am now using tmpgenc plus and that seems to be ok so far on the progress viewer.
    What I want to know is why was the picture turning upside down, and what is the best QUICK method to convert xvid avi to either dvd compat mpeg or vobs?
