  1. I am trying to convert an MP3 file to an AC3 file. I have read the directions from front to back at:

    https://www.videohelp.com/forum/userguides/129419.php

However, when I get to the LAST step.. where I click "MP3 to AC3"
I get an error in my log, and the file doesn't convert. Here's what the log
    says:

    BeSweet v1.5b25 by DSPguru.
    --------------------------
    Using hip.dll v1.19 by Myers Carpenter <myers@users.sf.net>
    Using Shibatch.dll v0.24 by Naoki Shibata & DSPguru (shibatch.sourceforge.net).
Error 85: support for ac3enc.dll had been removed due it its suckness!
    Quiting...
    [00:00:00:000] Conversion Completed !

    Logging ends : 03/18/04 , 12:56:12.

*basically it's an Error 85, does anyone know what this is? I know it's related to the AC3 plug-in.. but how do I install this plugin? Its simply a *.dll file, in the same folder as all my BeSweet files.. like the directions said to do. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

  2. Not positive, but I thought AC3 creation was disabled in later versions of BeSweet. Something about it not being exactly to the AC3 standard.

You need an older version of BeSweet.

The author of BeSweet removed AC3 support from the program in more recent versions.
