I'm using an ATI AIW 128 16 MB / AMB athon 900 win98.
I've been capturing video with no problem until I've updated to WXP PRO.
I can't play videos captured earlier (ATI VCR1) - with no program. I tried to uninstall MMC and reinstall latest, I reinstalled video drivers,... no results.
And I can't capture videos now. I see image on screen, but when I play video green strips all the screen.
Can anyone hel me, please?

Updating from one OS to another always yeilds a bad result.
If you don't have any important data , re-install XP Pro (clean install - format , etc
If you don't want to go that way , uninstall everything ATI , and download the XP Drivers and the latest ATI MMC from ATI (You said you tried this though).
I have a similar setup (ATI 128 PRO / WINXP) , and from what you posted , it just sounds like something an upgrade to another OS would do.There's some conflict there , has to be.
If the uninstall and updates don't work , backup any important data , and do a clean install of XP.I'm sure that will get rid of any problems your having. -

These bugs have also been reported numerous times on the aiw board on rage3d, I've also emailed ati with no response. It's amazing that several yrs after the release of windows xp, ATI has not fixed these bugs.
I've ordered a winfast tv expert and I'll try it and see, if it works out my relationship with the all in wonder series will be over. -
I reinstalled winXP - clean, formatted.
I can read some video captures previously recoded, but not the last ones. No implementations for ATI VCR1/2.
Still need help...@JAF 2004
