  1. I have this .avi and i am trying to encode it to later be burned on dvd but when I try try and encode it in TMPGEnc it just tells me : "...........avi" can not open, or unsupported. What can I do?

  2. Forgot to mention this file plays perfectly in my media player and hen I open it with gspot it doesn't show any message like: "codec not installed"

  4. I lready followed the instructions and it did not work, is there another encoder that I can use or another way to fix this one? Thank you for your quick replies

    What exactly have you tried and what error messages did you get. TmpGenc can usually be persuaded to open most avi files.

    What 4cc did G-spot say your file had? You can find that info in the upper right portion of the screen.
