I cant join files with Avi Joiner 1.0

Hello.
I have Lord of the rings III on 3CD (XVID).
I try to join files with AVI Joiner 1.0.
When I join only 2 files (716MB x 2) the movie playing OK and
when join 3 files (716MB x 3) the size of joined file is OK (2.1....GB)
but I cant watch the movie.
When I start joined file Media player say "wrong format" or something
like that.
I try to import file in tmpeg but nothing.
I must join files and put it on DVD.
I try also join files with Easy video joiner but with this program I cant
do anything.
